
The number of homes and condominiums put under agreement in the month of February increased over last year. Median prices for both single-family homes and condominiums saw a hike year-over-year as well.
Single-family pending home sales rose over 12 percent this month from November of last year, with prices rising over four percent. Pending condominium sales were also up, rising more than two percent over last year, while prices increased slightly. Realtors® confidence in the market was up almost 20 percent in November, while confidence in prices raised only slightly over last year.

Buyers were not deterred by the hottest August on record in pushing up the number of accepted offers that were made as pending home sales rose again over 24 percent from last year. Condominium pending sales were also up 17 percent as prices for both property types continue to go up. The strong market was reflected in a high Realtor® Market Confidence Index, while Price Confidence was essentially flat.

Home sales momentum from the winter has continued into the spring, as April pending home sales increased just over 30 percent from last year. Realtors® confidence in the market increased to the highest level since May 2013 after a year of steady increases.
